The coverage of the Presidents Cup is all publicity and golf fans are livid

In case you haven’t seen it, there’s a Presidents Cup golf tournament going on right now.

And, apparently, several fans I do not have seen a lot of everything.

There are nearly two full days left for the event to start, and golf enthusiasts have evidently had ENOUGH coverage from NBC, Peacock and Golf Channel.

Their biggest problem? Well, it’s simple, but pretty glaring: they’re not actually seeing any golf!

Instead of simply showing the action on the pitch, which shouldn’t be difficult considering the style of the tournament and the number of players actually on the pitch, viewers have so far been treated to constant commercials, split screen coverage and more filling content. of anyone who signed up.

Predictably, everyone has nearly had enough.

Social media roasted Presidents Cup coverage

Those, by the way, are just the tip of the iceberg.

Fans were outraged during Thursday’s opening round at Quail Hollow, calling the coverage “terrible,” mocking a now viral image of a mostly empty grandstand and lamenting the lack of superstars in the event.

Of course, PGA’s new favorite startup, LIV Golf, was also mentioned by several fans.

Yikes.

For those wondering, it’s a real bloodbath in favor of Nice Guys right now. The US is currently up 4-1 as we enter the afternoon portion of Day 2.

Maybe you can catch a glimpse of the action if you don’t blink!
